01

The program

The TimoDesk affiliate program pays approved affiliates for new organizations they refer to TimoDesk. It is free to join, and you don't need a TimoDesk subscription. You manage everything in the affiliate portal at partner.timodesk.com, where the program is called the TimoDesk Partner Program. There you find your links, the organizations you referred, your balance and your payouts.

First, create an account in the affiliate portal and verify your email address. Then send your application. We review each application before we approve it. If we turn it down, we email you the reason, and you can apply again 30 days after you sent that application.

02

How a referral is credited to you

When someone clicks your link, we save a cookie (a small text file) in their browser that remembers you sent them. If they create a new TimoDesk organization within 60 days of that click, the organization is credited to you.

  • If a person clicks links from more than one affiliate, the last click wins
  • Each organization can be credited to only one affiliate
  • If we gave you a coupon code, a sign-up that uses it is credited to you when there is no affiliate link click on record
  • A click older than 60 days, or a click we flag as spam, does not credit anyone

If tracking missed a referral and you can show that the organization came from you, open a support request in the affiliate portal. We can then credit it to you by hand, as long as it is not already credited to another affiliate.

03

What you earn

You earn $10 for each organization you refer. You earn it once that organization has paid TimoDesk $10 or more in total. It does not have to be one payment. Smaller payments that add up to $10 count too.

  • It is paid once per organization, not as a share of every invoice
  • There is no limit on how many organizations you refer, and no monthly quota

TimoDesk pays once for each sign-up. When an organization is credited to an affiliate, it does not also earn customer referral credit for someone else.

04

When commission reaches your balance

Your $10 goes into your balance as soon as you earn it, and you can withdraw it right away. We email you each time a commission is added.

We look closely at referrals that seem unusual, for example several sign-ups from the same IP address (the number that identifies an internet connection). If we find that a referral is fake, it stops earning.

Your account must be active when the organization you referred reaches $10. If your account is suspended or closed at that moment, that referral earns nothing, even if we reinstate your account later.

05

Referrals that do not earn

The program pays for new customers, not for you or your own company. We do not credit a sign-up to you when:

  • It uses your own email address
  • It uses an email address at your company's domain (public email services such as gmail.com do not count)
  • It comes from an IP address you used to sign in to the affiliate portal in the last 30 days
  • The person who signs up owns, or has owned, another TimoDesk organization
  • We find that the referral is fake or breaks this policy
06

How you may promote TimoDesk

Promote TimoDesk honestly. When you share your link, you must:

  • Describe TimoDesk, its features and its price accurately
  • Tell your readers that you may earn a commission
  • Use the TimoDesk name and logo without changing them

You must not:

  • Bid on the word "TimoDesk", or misspellings of it, in paid search ads
  • Send spam, or bulk email and messages that people did not ask for
  • Use cookie stuffing, fake clicks or any other trick that sets your cookie without a real click
  • Pay or reward people to sign up
  • Promise discounts or features that TimoDesk does not offer
  • Present yourself as TimoDesk, or suggest you work for us

If you break these rules, we may deduct commission from your balance, suspend your account or close it.

07

Deducted commission

We may deduct a commission from your balance when:

  • The payment it was earned on is refunded or charged back (reversed by the bank or card company)
  • We find that the referral was fake or broke this policy

Your balance never goes below zero. Each time we deduct from your balance, we email you the amount and the reason.

08

Withdrawals

There is no minimum to withdraw. Every commission is $10, so you can request a payout as soon as you earn your first one.

  • You request a payout from your balance in the affiliate portal
  • Your email address must be verified first
  • We pay by PayPal or bank transfer. You enter your payout details on each request, and we pay to the details on that request
  • Before you confirm, the portal shows any fee, limit and processing time for the method you chose
  • You can have one payout request open at a time. You can cancel it while it is still pending, and the amount goes back to your balance
  • We review and pay each request by hand, and email you when it is paid
  • If we reject a request, the full amount goes back to your balance

You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on what you earn.

09

Suspension and closure

Suspended account. Your links still send visitors to TimoDesk, but they stop recording clicks, and you earn no new commission. While the account is suspended, you can't request or cancel a payout. Anything already in your balance stays yours. If we reinstate the account, everything works again.

Closed account. We may close an account for serious or repeated breaches of this policy. You can no longer use a closed account, and we may keep any balance left in it.

We email you each time we suspend, reinstate or close an account. When we suspend or close it, the email gives the reason.

10

Your data and visitor data

About you. We keep the account, application and payout details you give us, and use them to run your account and pay you. To close your account, open a support request in the affiliate portal. We keep financial records for as long as accounting rules require.

About visitors. When someone follows your link, we record the click, its time, the IP address, the country, the browser, the device and the page they came from. We also set a cookie that remembers which affiliate sent them. We use this to credit sign-ups and to detect fraud, and we keep these click records.

What you see. Your dashboard lists each referral with a masked name (only the first letter of each word shows), its sign-up date, its status and how much it has paid toward $10. It never shows who the customer is or what they track in TimoDesk.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain the rest.

11

Changes to the program

We may change this policy or the commission amount, or end the program. Commission you have already earned is honored under the terms that applied when you earned it. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of TimoDesk.

Not sure if something is allowed?

Ask us before you publish. We would rather answer a question than deduct a commission.
